Peter Upton's

Subbuteo Tribute Website.

The Team Colours Project.

The Lightweight (1980-2002)

References 701 - 800.

This page covers teams released from 1990 to 1995. As you can see, in the first half of the 1990s team production carried on as it had in the 1980s, with each new home and away kit carefully recreated. The range reached 767 in 1992. It then moved on to 791 in 1993, and 806 in 1994, but that year also saw the first wholesale re-use of numbers. Any club colours in the 1993 range which were still being produced by Subbuteo, but had seen alterations to the strip, kept the same number. This trick was repeated in 1995 and 1996, so some kits on this page now have as many as four alternate versions. A number of kits from the 1991-92 era don't seem to tie up with their catalogue illustrations. Whether there are two versions of some of these kits, or whether the catalogues are just wrong, I don't know - but teams 712, 723 and 728 all seem to differ.

This page would not have been possible without the scanned catalogues provided by Mark Kenyon, Stefano Montecchiesi, Jon Shelley,  Dimitrios Philippides, and Eddie Lang. Please note that these scans have made this page very picture heavy, so please be patient while it loads.
